To mark the International Day of Education 2022, GA Malaysia’s CEO Andrew Pereira speaks to BFM, alongside Daniel Bernbeck, Executive Director of the Malaysian German Chamber of Commerce on how technical and vocational education and training (TVET) can be made more relevant and attractive to Malaysians. The panel discusses the ingredients for an effective TVET ecosystem, drawing lessons from the German dual-vocational training system.

As employability has been made more challenging due to the pandemic, any form of training that could improve one’s possibility of finding a career is highly sought after. Listen to the panel session on BFM as the panelists discuss the landscape of TVET  in Malaysia, the rate of employability in the country, how people are considering career prospects and life-long learning and more.
